The world of work has changed, and the successive lockdowns didn’t make it easy for HR. The Human resources were the front runner over the last two years and had to adapt quickly with company restructures, new working arrangements or internal communication and policy.
However, the economy bounced back rapidly, and the HR department is now refocussing on talent acquisition and training & development, which correlates to HR professionals’ careers.
Several job functions are experiencing a talent shortage, and it’s even more critical within the HR function. According to our survey, 51.85% of HR employers have seen an overall decrease in the number of candidate applications this year – the highest across Hudson’s practices.
